Femme Frontera Filmmaker Showcase

I created this concept logo and posters for the Femme Frontera Filmmaker Showcase for my Professional Practices design class. Inspired by southwest culture and scenery, the concept was to combine ideas from the female movie industry with elements from the U.S.–Mexico border.

Two posters hung on a wall. The left poster is for the call for submissions with an image of a green cactus with a pink flower blooming out from the top. The flower petals are turned into strips of film. The poster on the right is call for submissions for the children's showcase with a smaller potted cactus with the same blooming film strips coming from the top.
